Cypress Gardens Update

As most of you are aware, Cypress Gardens will undergo some dramatic changes over the next few months. We are very excited about these changes and look forward to the "new and improved" Gardens once they are complete. We have had many calls from clients in regards to this announcment. At this point, we are still unsure if we will have to relocate temporarily during construction. We are also not sure yet if and when we will be able to conduct site inspections. There are no weddings booked during this time. Our current office hours are Tuesday - Thursday 8:30am-2:30pm and by appointment on evenings and weekends that we don't have an event scheduled. We will update everyone on as soon as we know. Thank you for your patience!

A lot of our time is spent doing research. Flowers, Wedding Cakes, Linens, Invitations, Favors, etc. Clients want to see the latest trends and unique ideas. I find myself researching in my down time.....so, here are a few must see ideas I came across this evening that I couldn't help but share. -

Polk County Bridal Exhibit & Marketplace 2008

Sunshine Celebrations attended the 1st Bridal Exhibit & Marketplace on Sunday. It was a extremely busy day with lots and lots of brides. It was great to see all of the happy faces and new prospects. It was also good to see all of our vendors! Many thanks to those involved in the preparation of the show! Congrats! :-) (my apologies for the blurry photos)

We strive to find the BEST and have been blessed with so many in our area and can't thank them enough for helping make our clients dreams come true. The Knot http://www.theknot.com/ hosted their Fall Preview Party in Orlando on September 10th at Ceviche Tapas Bar & Restaurant http://www.ceviche.com/ on Church Street. We had a fabulous time tasting lots of yummy hors d'oeuvres and the BEST red sangria I've ever had! Check out Cypress Gardens ad in the fall issue! We ended the evening at a cute and trendy wine and dessert bar across from Ceviche called, The Dessert Lady http://www.dessertlady.com/. (I reccommend the "Spread 'Em"!
