Greetings, everyone! My apologies for neglected my blog for the last few months. Life has been crazy, hectic and full of exciting events! I've had the opportunity to attend and coordinate several fun events over the last few months and thrilled they were all a success! I'm so excited about slowing down during the holidays, spending time with my son, Evan, stepson, Austin and my Husband, Scott! When I say this was a crazy wedding, I mean CRAZY! These photos were taken BEFORE the sideways rain and 50mph winds hit our beautifully decorated lakeside tent. We had to clean, dry & reset everything....My CG & SC teams are one of a kind. I seriously could NOT do it without them. Terrie Lobb & her staff are the BEST in this industry BY FAR! Thanks to our DJ, Chris Boswell-DJ Boz Productions, Photographer, Phil Hines and the numerous employees who helped pull this together - TWICE!!! Flowers were provided by M. William Designs and cake by Flavor. Emily & Sean: you & your bridal party were a joy to work with. After having to postpone the wedding an hour and a half, we still saw smiles! That's rare in my industry! Thank you both it's been a wonderful year and a half working with you. Best wishes always! :-)

Typically, I meet with clients 12-18 months before their wedding and plan every detail from choosing a venue to choosing colors & flowers. Other times, in cases like this, I'm only hired for Day of Coordinating. I had 3 weddings that week, but couldn't say no to her sweet & cheerful voice (even though she was a Gator) :-) when she called me last year. I didn't even meet Amanda in person until the evening of the rehearsal. She & Eric and the rest of the wedding party welcomed me & I had a blast! I wasn't involved with every detail, but I still felt like part of their special memories! They were so much fun & those groomsmen were the best dancers I have ever seen! What a fantastic group of close friends! I wish you both the very best! Thank you for a fun evening & for allowing me to coordinate your wedding day!

I snapped a few shots yesterday from inside the Magnolia Mansion for a client of ours. I thought it was a perfect opportunity to share them with everyone! A year ago, over $500,000 was invested in this historic landmark. The result? A magnificent venue for wedding receptions or other lavish events. The top floor of the Magnolia Mansion, has a beautifully designed bridal suite like no other in our area! Cypress Gardens Update

As most of you are aware, Cypress Gardens will undergo some dramatic changes over the next few months. We are very excited about these changes and look forward to the "new and improved" Gardens once they are complete. We have had many calls from clients in regards to this announcment. At this point, we are still unsure if we will have to relocate temporarily during construction. We are also not sure yet if and when we will be able to conduct site inspections. There are no weddings booked during this time. Our current office hours are Tuesday - Thursday 8:30am-2:30pm and by appointment on evenings and weekends that we don't have an event scheduled. We will update everyone on as soon as we know. Thank you for your patience!

Sunshine Celebrations has coordinated a "Girls Cruise to Cozumel". This event kicks off our new division: Honeymoon & Travel Planning. Amy Valle has been hired to oversee this department and already shown us that it will be a success. We are able to book flights, hotels, resorts, weekly rentals, cruises and of course AMAZING honeymoons. We invite you to share our first "Celebration" aboard Carnivial's Inspiration. Cruise Itinerary (Thursday through Monday):
September 18th – Departs from Tampa @ 4pm
September 19th – Fun Day at Sea (*Red High Heels Party coordinated by Sunshine Celebrations)
September 20th – Cozumel
September 21st – Fun Day at Sea
September 22nd – Arrives in Tampa @ 8am

Price per Person: $313.45pp* (4 guests per cabin) $346.45pp* (3 guests per cabin) $412.45pp* (2 guests per cabin)
*this price includes ALL taxes and port charges, 3 and 4 person cabins are first come, first serve. This ship has a limited amount of these rooms.

Deposit Requirement: $150 due by May 21st

Final Payment: Balance due July 18th

We highly recommend obtaining a passport for this cruise. Currently, the cruise line does not require it, but by September, rules and regulations could change. You have plenty of time to get it, so let me know if you need assistance with that process.

Faces of Breast Cancer was a HUGE Success!

A big thank you to everyone who made it out to the book signing. The turnout was fabulous and everyone had a great time. Approximately $2,000 was made that evening by book, wine and retail sales. All of the *Faces Ladies* looked amazing! Thank you, Rachel for your special gift! This project was a big success all because of you and your BIG heart! To my friends, Brenda & Scott at Vintners Cellar Custom Winery, thank you for you continuous support. Books will be sold at Relay for Life in Bartow on April 11th and 12th. Rachel Absher will also be present this evening and able to sign the books.
